GG-30 is alloyed to achieve the specified properties, giving excellent wear resistance, resistance and response to surface hardening compared to GG-20 and GG-25, while still having reasonable machinability and excellent surface finish. The noise and vibration damping are excellent in this degree. Complies with Standard EN 16482: 2014 | EN-GJL-300C.

Brinell hardness

200-250 HB test with 10 mm diameter ball and 3000Kg load. depending on the size of the section. Hardness readings are taken throughout the entire section of the bar. The hardness values for rectangles depend on the relationship between height and width and can be supplied upon request.

Micro structure

It contains graphite 'A' type sheets, in accordance with ISO 945. The periphery zone contains 'D' type sheets and 'E' interdendritic graphite. The core matrix is greater than 90% perlite. The matrix of the periphery is a mixture of ferrite / perlite. The periphery can contain up to 5% of dispersed fine carbides.
