Typical applications and uses

The aluminum with copper alloy EN AW 2030, despite its mechanical characteristics, screws, studs, washers, flanges, sleeves and parts that require high mechanical characteristics with responsibility such as cylinders and hydraulic pistons are constructed.

It has excellent machining behavior, with high cutting speeds and good chip shedding, so its field of use is very varied.

Heat treatments:

Annealing: 380 ° C to 420 ° C for 1 to 2 hours. Slow cooling
Putting into solution: 475º C ± 5 ° C.
Tempering in cold water (70 ° C max.)
Maturation: T3 / T4 states, 4 days minimum at 20 ° C.
To obtain forged parts: 380 ° C to 460 ° C.
